Answer #1

We have four type of data variables, i.e. D = Democrat, I = Independent, R = Republican, O = Other

count each one of these variables in the given table and write down

D = 14, I = 5, R = 7, O = 4

total = 14 + 5 + 7 + 4 = 30

Percent for D = (number of D/total)*100 = (14/30)*100= 46.67

Percent for I = (number of I/total)*100 = (5/30)*100= 16.67

Percent for R = (number of R/total)*100 = (7/30)*100= 23.33

Percent for O = (number of O/total)*100 = (4/30)*100= 13.33

Class Frequency Percent
D 14 46.67
I 5 16.67
R 7 23.33
O 4 13.33
