Sampling is important because it is impossible to (observe, interview, survey, etc.) an entire population. When Sampling it is vital to ensure the people in your sample reflect the population or else you will get misleading results.

We are ascertained of the fact that trends from the sample of data, is used to allocate funds or say, frame a government policy to benefit the population from that. Because its both economically impossible to observe the entire population, so as make required policy for them.

So , if we know that we have used right type of sampling to obtain sample date, which represents the population, so we know that the government policy framed using the trends from that sample data will go on benefiting the entire population.
