Answer #1

CLUSTER sampling is used in the survey since there might be different geographical regions in the province and the estimasion should be representative of the whole province, regardless of the geographical area.In a cluster sampling the population is divided in to different clusters, and then some clusters are randomly chosen and further analyses are done on that clusters to summarise data. Cluster sampling is one of the cost effective method to conduct the study above as we can reduce the travel cost between different clusters as well as ensuring population representative estimation.
