Currently the exact proportion of people who are registered to vote for the entire population can be calculated as :-
22,429/35,093 = 0.639130310888211 = 63.91%
In the sample taken the probability of 75% of residents being registered to vote is provided.
Now as the sample size increases, the sample proportion would tend to the population proportion i.e. the probability of 75% of residents registered to vote would decrease and become closer and closer to 63.91%, the actual population proportion.
