Use the given data that represent the waiting time of a randomly selected group of people at an urgent-care clinic and a randomly selected group of people at an emergency clinic.

a. Rearrange the data so that they can be analyzed using regression, and add an independent variable that is 1 for Emergency and 0 Urgent care.

b. Test the hypothesis that waiting time is equal for both groups (against the alternative that they are not equal) using regression and t-test. Then, interpret this results.

Note that the regression cant be performed on the given data as the sample sizes are different for both urgent and emergency groups

also , note that we can perform a t test independent sample test with unequal variance in excel as shown below

we enter the data and then goto data > data analysis tab and select t test

as the p value is not less than 0.05 , hence we fail to reject the null hypothesis and conclude that the mean values for the 2 groups are not signficantly different
