Number of License plates that start with 2 letters, then 4 number :

Number of letters (A-Z) = 26

Number of numbers(digits : 0-9) =10

Number of slots in the License plate 6

First slot which has to be a letter can have : 26 options

Second slot also has to be a letter can have : 26 (as the characters can be repeated) options

Third, forth, fifth and sixth slots to be number , each slots can have : 10 options

Number of License plates that start with 2 letters, then 4 number : 26 x 26 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10= 6760000
