Please don't hesitate to give a "thumbs up" in case you're satisfied with the answer

So, of the 10 numbers, 8 12000s exist, 4 6000s exist. = 12 numbers exist in total.

So, a number which is smaller than 87.5% of the numbers ( or 9 by 10 of the numbers), and bigger than 1 number ( 12.5% )

12 numbers/ 10 = 1.2 th number from the 12 numbers is the correct answer. This 1.2th number is between lowest and 2nd lowest number. But the lowest and second lowest number are 6000 and 6000. So, the number that is 87.5% smaller or equal to rest of data , but 12.5% bigger or equal to rest of the data is 6000

Answer is 6000

Consider the following sample data set. 0, 50, 66, 68, 69, 72, 74, 75, 12000 Manually calculate the mean and standard deviation of the set showing all calculations in a clear detailed table. Then, in a separate table, calculate the Z-score of each data point and indicate if it is a normal data point, a potential outlier, or an outlier. Remove any outliers and completely repeat this process. What do you observe about doing this?
