How do bivariate statistics expand upon univariate statistics? In other words, what can bivariate statistics tell us that univariate statistics cannot?
Bivariate Analysis - Bivariate analysis is one of the method of statistical analysis. It differs from univariate analysis in terms of variables involved in the study. In univariate analysis we can get the inference of the single variable only, but what if we have one or two more variables which are causing or affecting the behaviour of the unvariate (variable under study) and this information we can not get by analysing all 3 variables individually. The combined effect study and inference from the behaviour of the more than variable together only bivariate or multivariate study can give which is not possible from univariate analysis.
