Given M=14.33 & SD=3.11, what raw score marks P40? P83?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Here MEAN  (M)=14.33 SD=3.11

To find raw score marks P40 &P83

i)To find P40 By using formuala

...........(*)

Now 40 th percentile for z value is -0.253

so using z formula solved in (*)

X=14.33+(-0.253*3.11)

x=13.5431

i)To find P83 By using formuala

...........(*)

Now 83 th percentile for z value is 0.954

so using z formula solved in (*)

X=14.33+(0.954*3.11)

x=17.2969

Hence P40=13.54 &P83=17.29
