At Izzy’s Ice Cream you can buy an ice cream cone a lot of different ways. You have 3 choices for the type of cone you can get: sugar cone, waffle cone or chocolate coated cone. You have 6 choices for ice cream flavor: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, cherry, peach or banana. You have 5 choices for toppings: jimmies, butterscotch syrup, peanuts, gummy bears or “M and Ms”. You can order one of three sizes: small, medium or large. When you buy an ice cream cone at Izzy’s Ice Cream you have to make one choice in each category; that is, you have to choose 1 type of cone, 1 type of ice cream, 1 type of topping, and 1 size. Also, any of the choices in one category can be made with any of the choices in any other different category. That is to say, that all choices are compatible. How many different ways can you order an ice cream cone from Izzy’s ?
