1 .An OR of .2 means a probability of event ,

(OR-1)*100% is the percent increase of odds to occur.

So, odds increase by (.2-1)*100 =- 80%

So, odds decrease by80 % for unit increase in independent variable.

2. Similarly, we have for OR = 1.2

A percent increase of (1.2-1)*100% = 20% in the odds for 1 unit increase in independent variable.

C. An OR of 2.5 is an increase of (2.5-1)*100% = 150% of odds for 1 unit increase in independent variable.
