In this assignment, you will use the confidence intervals calculated in Unit 5 to determine if two means are the same.
Steps
Open your Unit 6 assignment
Identify the means and confidence intervals for the resting heart rate for mean and women.
Use the 95% confidence intervals to determine if the resting male heart is the same as the resting female heart.
Repeat the comparison for the 99% confidence interval.
In a Word documents, explain why you think the two means are or are not the same with a 95% level of confidence. Be certain to repeat your argument for a 99% level of confidence.

Use the 95% confidence intervals to determine if the resting male heart is the same as the resting female heart.
the 95% confidence limit for resting male is ( 79.0399 , 81.7305)
the 95% confidence limit for resting female is ( 80.473, 83.0678)
Since the lower limit of feamale 95% confidence interval is less thn the upper limit of the male 95% confidence interval, we conclude that the male and female means are not significantlly different.
the 99% confidence limit for resting male is (78.6055 , 82.1649)
the 99% confidence limit for resting female is ( 80.0501, 83.4891)
From these confidence interval the conclusion is same as from the above part.
Since the absolute critical value for 99% confidence level is greater than the 95% confidence level. so that the width of the 99% confidence interval is larger than the width of the 95% confidence level.
