Data is the collection of information that we can use to understand something about the thing being measured. ... Insight is gained by analyzing data and information to understand what is going on with the particular situation or phenomena. The insight can then be used to make better decisions.

Findings are what we observe on gaining insights about the data. These findings can then be used to take appropriates decisions and actions for betterment of the cause.

A recommendation engine, also known as a recommender system, is software that analyzes available data to make suggestions for something that a website user might be interested in, such as a book, a video or a job, among other possibilities.
