which of yhe following does not explain a possible relationship between variables when the null hypothesis is rejected

Answer #1

NEGATIVE EFFECT is the answer

Negative effect does not explain a possible relationship between variables when the null hypothesis is rejected because when the null hypothesis is rejected, this does not mean that the we are supporting the alternate hypothesis. It is an example of one tailed hypothesis where check whether the relationship between the variables is negative or not. When we reject the null hypothesis then we sufficient evidence to reject the null hypothesis, but the negative effect does not explain the relationship.
