We can use simple random sampling or SRS to ensure that each member of the population had an equal chance of being selected for the sample group. The simple random sampling is used to provide equal chance or probability of being selected to each student, this helps in removing all the possible selection biasing. The probability or chance of selection of each student in the sample group using the simple random sampling is equal and independent of each other's selection process.

There are ways of sampling which can be used for the selection process, like the systematic sampling and cluster sampling. So, it depends on us which selection process we select for the conducting the study.
