What is an excel formula or excel mathematical equation to convert Annual Salary into hourly wage?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

let us consider that the Annual income is entered in cell A1, number of weeks in a year entered in cell B1 and number of hours worked per week in cell C1

Mathematical formula for calculating the hourly wage is given as

hourly wage = (Annual income)/[(number of hours worked per week)*(number of weeks in a year)]

Excel formula, type in cell D1 or any other cell where you wish to calculte the hourly wage

Hourly wage = A1/(B1*C1) , here A1, B1 and C1 are cells
