The researchers collect sample data on Demanding and Undemanding parental styles. The scores below represent the number of behavioral incidents of the children.

Data:

Undemanding: 14, 6, 12, 2, 10, 6, 11, 10, 1, 8

Demanding: 17, 23, 21, 15, 17, 22, 19, 22, 21, 19

Instructions:

Using the data shown above (next page), calculate the independent groups t-ratio and determine if the two means are significantly different. Use JASP to do your analysis. Calculate descriptive statistics, effect size, and confidence intervals.
