if an anova is significant what should be done next and why n
In ANOVA:
H0: Null Hypothesis: 1 = 2 = ... =n (There is no significant diffence in population means)
HA: Alternative Hypothesis: 1 2 . n (At least one population mean is significantly differendt from others.)
If ANOVA is signifant, we Reject the Null Hypothesis. We conclude that at least one population mean is significantly different from others.
In order to find out which population means are different from others, Post-hoc test, also called posterior test, is appied on the data: such as Turkey's Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) post hoc test.
