Homework Answers

Answer #1

Here we need to use combination

Let is total number of Paw Patrol DVD's and is total number of word world DVD's

is required number of Paw Patrol DVD's

and is required number of Word world DVD's

We have = 7 and = 15

= 3 and = 2

Therefore number of ways can we choose 3 paw patrol and 2 word world DVD's are :

= = 35*105 = 3675

To find combination term you can use scientific calculator or excel .

I have used excel function =COMBIN(n,x)

So there are 3675 ways she can choose 3 paw patrol and 2 word world DVD's .
