An article discussing when most Americans start saving for retirement stated that about 15% of people in their 20’s have started long-term retirement savings, about 48% of people by the time they’re in their 30’s have started saving, about 72% of people in their 40’s, about 80% in their 50’s, and about 83% in their 60’s.
I collected data from 200 Americans (SRS) in the table below. Run a hypothesis test to see if my data refutes the above article.
