Use SPSS and complain printout and explainations.
1.You are attempting to assess three forms of pedagogy: lecture (Method 1), Hybrid (Method 2), and online (Method 3). You randomly sample students from two different schools (A and B) and from three different classrooms per school that exclusively uses one of the methods. The data that you collect (eight students per classroom) are final semester achievement scores as follows:
Method 1 Method 2 Method 3
School A 55,55,55,60 60,60,65,65 65,70,70,70,
60,65,70,80 65,70,70,80 70,70,80,85
School B 55,55,60,65 55,60,65,65, 60,65,70,75,
65,65,70,75, 70,70,75,85, 675,80,85,85,
What conclusions can you draw from the data? Please include all relevant statistical analyses from SPSS.
2. You are trying to develop a linear regression model that optimally predicts reading ability. You have amassed the following data for 15 random students:
Reading Ability Number of Months Number of Pushups Student Height
Score in School in 3 Minutes in Inches
28 39 20 49
34 41 9 51
41 43 12 50
44 44 10 55
52 46 13 57
56 45 17 55
63 48 20 58
65 47 20 53
69 49 23 60
78 51 29 62
76 49 15 61
83 52 33 62
91 53 37 63
95 57 34 67
98 60 25 70
Using all three independent variables as predictor variables, which variables are statistically significant predictors of reading ability? What is the optimal model? Why? Please include all relevant statistical analyses from SPSS. Using only student height as a predictor variable, is this variable a significant predictor of reading ability? Explain your reasoning.

Please note that we can answer questions using open source tools only , the quesiton can easily be done using basic excel
we goto data > data analysis tan and select regression
the regression equation is formed using the coefficient values as
score= -103.38 +2.91*months + 0.4543*pushups + 0.3084*height
a variable is statistically significant if the p value of the variable is less than 0.05 , here variables pushups and height have high p values , hence they are not significant for the model and can be dropped
