Homework Answers

Answer #1

There are total 30 students out of which, 3 are primary two,6 are primary three, 6 are primary four,10 are primary five, and 5 are primary six students.

If a student is selected at random, the probability that he/she is from primary five is =10/30

If a student is selected at random, the probability that he/she is from primary six is =5/30

Therefore, the probability that he/she is from primary five or primary six =10/30+5/30

=15/30

=1/2

Therefore c) is the correct choice.
