Answer #1

SOLUTION:

From given data,

Find the area between z = 2 and z = -1.30.

We need to find ,

P(-1.30 < Z < 2) = P(Z < 2) - P(Z < -1.30)

P(-1.30 < Z < 2) = 0.97725 - 0.09680 (From standard normal table )

P(-1.30 < Z < 2) = 0.88045

P(-1.30 < Z < 2) = 88.05 % (Result in terms of percentage)

Standard normal curve:

Shaded area is 0.88045
