Answer #1

## Q )Can I use OLS to estimate this model? Please explain why or why not.

Answer : Yes , we can use OLS ( ordinary least square ) to estimate this model ,

why ?

because its used we can predict values of a continuous response variable using one or more explanatory variable

and can also identify the strength of the relationships between these variables .

( these two goals of regression are often referred to as prediction and explanation )

in regression analysis  OLS do very important . and estimated values from it are accurate as well as usable .

so we can believe in it and can estimate regression model also .

) In the case of perfect multicollinearity, OLS is unable to estimate the slope coefficients of the variables involved. Assume that you have included both X1 and X2 as explanatory variables, and that X2 = 2 X1 , so that there is an exact relationship between two explanatory variables. Does this pose a problem for estimation? Why or why not? Also, explain what perfect multicollinearity is and why it is problematic in general in your answer.
