How do the measures of central tendency and variation affect the shape of a distribution of a data set?
Central tendency is measure of centre of data. it it shows approximate location of centre for data.it represents that most of proportion of data centred around this point. if centre of data changes, then Central tendency changes. it means that in curve of data Central tendency effect is horizontal shift of curve.
measure of variation tells about the spread of data. if variation changes then shift of curve will be on vertical line. that is upward or downward.
