MSE = 10

k = 4

Here it is given that there are 6 observations

N = 6*4

N = 24

Now consider,

SSE = (N - k)*MSE

substitute values

= (24 - 4)*10

= 20*10

SSE= 200

To determine SS treatment

SS treatment = SS Total - SSE

substitute known values

= 250 - 200

= 50

Now we have to consider,

Effect size measure 2

i.e.,

2 = SS treatment / SS Total

substitute values

2 = 50 / 250

2 = 0.20

Hence the effect size  2 = 0.20
