Attracting and retaining the best employees is one of the greatest issues in the hotel industry today. A study that took place in the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels aims at analyzing the employee retention management systems practiced by hotels in Greece. Surveying medium and large-sized hotels, the study showed that 308 out of the 400 medium-sized hotels have employee retention management systems as compared to 174 out of the 200 large-sized hotels. Hotel managers would like to know whether there is a significant difference between medium-sized hotels and large-sized hotels with respect to the proportion that have employee retention management systems.
