## find the p-value for the indicated hypothesis test with the given standardized test statistic, z. decide whether to reject H0 for the given level of significance a. right-tailed test with statistic z=1.47 and a=0.06. p-valuue =

Answer : We have given :

Alternative Hypothesis is one tailed : right tailed

Test statistics = z = 1.47

α = level of significance = 0.06

# we have to find p value : P [ z > 1.47 ]

for this we need to use statistical table used it :

=  0. 0707

Decision :

We reject Ho if p value is less than α value using p value approach , here p value is grater than α value

here we fail to reject Ho . at given level of significance .

Conclusion :

There is Insufficient evidence to conclude that population parameter is greater than claim value .

( here we accept Ho : that is claim is not satisfy of right tailed test  )
