Suppose a random variable, x, arises from a binomial experiment. If n = 14, and p = 0.13, find the P(X = 3) using Excel. Round answer to 4 decimal places.

First argument in the command is number of success = 3,

second is number of trails = n=14

and third one is probability of success = p = 0.13

fourth is cumulative, which is logical argument, if you want probability at that point then it take FALSE value and if you want cumulative probability at that point then it take TRUE value.

Here we want probability at x=3, hence cumulative = FALSE  

P(x=3) = 0.1728
