Answer #1

Answer:

Formula is

n = k*2^(t/d)

where n is the number of bacteria after t minutes, k is the number of bacteria at time zero, d is the time in minutes that it takes to double, and t is the time in minutes at which we are counting the bacteria.

Now, k = 3400, d = 8 days, t = 32 days

Therefore,

n = 3400*2^32/8)

= 3400*2^(4)

3400*16 = 54400

Hence the number of bacteria after 25 days will be approx. 54400
