One is interested in predicting the gender of a person, based on the person’s height and weight. Answer the questions below: 1. Identify the outcome variable and its type (continuous, or binary, or count). 2. (Give the name of the model that you would like to use for this problem, and explain the reason for using the model. Do not need to write down the mathematical expression of the model. 3. Explain why there is a link function in the model.

Q.1) Outcome variable is Gender and it is Binary i.e. Male or female.

Q.2) in this we have to use the model:- slope intercept form because in that case we obtained the trend for using the heights of persons..and the height is not continuously increase or not continuously decrease it is constant for certain age group.so it is limited and constant for a specific period.soo when we use this model we can obtaonob the trend either it is increased or decreased.

Q.3) in that model there is link function.becasue the height is related to the genders. And they are link together. Therefore in that mkdel there is a link function.
