Answer #1

Auscultation is a technique in physical examination that involves in hearing sounds using a sthethoscope. A diastolic murmur is a sound that hears during diastole. S1 heart sound is the first heart sound hears at the beginning of the systole when the mitral and tricuspid valve closed. Second heart sound is s2 that occurs at the end of systole with closure of aortic and pulmonic valves.

Diatolic murmur occurs at the end of s2. It occurs due to stenosis of the atrioventricular valves or regurgiataion of the semilunar valves.

In cardiac physiology preload related to the ventricular filling and it occurs during diastole. Afterload is the amount of ventricular tension during contraction.
