Countless people still follow Jesus today because he was an embodiment of mercy a quality that makes survival of human being possible in the world. His teachings of unconditional love and mercy will remain applicable till eternity. We have to love our neighbors as ourselves where ever we are in whichever part of the world we are and in all ages and times. Christ is a leader as he was someone who just did not give sermons but he himself acted upon his teachings to show us the way be it last supper where he fed those whom he knew are going to betray him or any other instance in his life.
