How do mood, emotion, positive affectivity (PA) and negative affectivity (NA) relate to job satisfaction? What possibilities does this provide for future measurement of job satisfaction?

Mood: could be defined as a state of mind that is temporary

Emotion: emotion could be identified as one of the conscious experiences that could be characterised through mental activity as well as pleasure degrees.

Positive affectivity: this is one of the traits that would be reflecting the stable differences which are present in the positive experiences of emotions. There would be marking of higher trait levels through the feelings of enthusiasts, energy as well as cheerfulness.

Negative affectivity could be identified through the variables of personality in which a person would be involving their negative emotions. Negative affectivity would be coming from guilt, contempt, disgust etc.

Satisfaction levels of a person depends on the emotions that a person shows. Depending on their perspective of looking at things, people tend to be satisfied and not. If a person has a positive mood, they would be displaying positive affectivity. This in turn affects a person to perform better and motivated in their actions. Job satisfaction is related to the manner in which a person looks at the different aspects. Even in the negative situations when a person looks at a positive aspect and identifies positive points, they have the feeling of job satisfaction. For them, the extrinsic motivations play a role, as well as the intrinsic motivation also plays an important role in obtaining job satisfaction.
