Bipolar disorder in children means severe mood swings which is usually different from the normal behaviour. In adults it means severe maniac depressive state of mind .
To intervene with the bipolar disorder in childrens one has to be in very close touch with that child and encourage the child to talk more . Also to take care of the child to be happy and in joyful mood.Listening to the child is also important to intervene this problems. To keep a close eye on the child one has to watch the child on the following points which are as under:
A) Loss of interest in usual activities?
B) Irritation continues for long time?
C) Is there any fatigue?
D) Is there any feeling of guilty is there in the child?
E) Is there any sleeping disorder?
F) Concentration disorder?
G) Is the child unable to express pleasure?
So to make a good rapport is necessary with the child and to intervene the problem and then diagnose the problem as required.
