Sociology is the study of the society. It focuses on our interactions with others, social relationships and cultures. The sociological perspective emphasizes on understanding how the society functions and how and why people abide by 'social norms'. Sociology is used in understanding different cultures. All cultures are different in its view, perspective and functioning. Sociology helps us understand human-interaction in this society which majority of people thrive on. Sociology understand how being in a group affects one's behaviour. In order to be accepted an individual's behaviour changes when in a group than when he is alone, by himself.
