The  difference between anorexia nervosa; a syndrome of self-starvation involving significant weight loss of about 15 percent or more of ideal body weight,  bulimia nervosa in which the weight of the body is normal or above normal is the fact that in bulimia people eat excessively followed by purging and vomiting to lose weight by using laxatives and direutics. The similarities between the two disorder include;

Both being eating disorders .

Both accompanied with emotional issues I.e problems.

Both patients have a fear of getting over weight.

Both are accompanied by voluntary fasting.
