The beliefs and assumptions that gender role expectations have on an individual’s sexual experience include the prevalence of many stereotypes such as; for example in the Amish community sexuality; an aspect of human nature is suppressed and strictly controlled. Men are seen as the head of the household and women their subordinates. When it comes it comes to sexuality men are supposed to initiate their partners in sex and women as part of feminine behavior accept it.
