1. Carissa Mayer, CPA, stayed longer than she should have at the annual holiday party of Wahoo!, CPAs. On her way home she drove through a red light and was stopped by a police officer, who observed that she was intoxicated. In a jury trial, Mayer was found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol. Because this was her third offense, she was sentenced to 60 days in jail and her driver’s license was revoked for six months.
