Answer #1

Dead Man's Cell Phone is a play By Sarah Ruhl. This play explores the paradox of modern technology, that how a phone can unite and isolate people in the digital age.

The secret of the Dead Man's cell phone is that, he was an organ dealer, who used to sell organs in blackmarket for a living and no one knew about his business, other than him. It effects the play in a way, that first of all, the secret of him being a black market organ dealer is out and his family who had been thinking greatly of him before knowing anything of this secret, have a change of heart. His wife at last forgave him about his business, when Jean lied to her, about gordon having written a love letter for her.
