Do you believe that the First Amendment protects online speech, even if that speech is perceived by individuals or groups of individuals as offensive? Does society in general have the right to penalize persons or entities that express hateful or offensive ideas online?

Freedom of speech in internet become a thin line as the resounding of current digital age.

The author is true , we are voluntarily providing up our First Amendment rights where we censor ourself online, but what is the repercussion for telling accurately what we want to say ? however, we, look both the sides of equation: I don’t think that anyone must be penalized for what they tell as we must be secured & protected beneath the First Amendment, but society must know that some things they say will not be accepted or tolerated
