During the Vietnam war, On 16 March 1968, A company of soldiers of America slaughtered More than 500 people in the village named My Lai. Most of the people were women, children, and old age people.

Most of young girls and women were raped and humiliated before being slaughtered.U.S army covered up the massacre with the reason that It was a result of aggression and frustration of soldiers but after reporting of the massacre by the American press. The issue becomes the international outrage.This massacre is one of the main reason which creates the anti-war sentiment.
