It is based on the Constitutional laws wherein defendent is protected.

Thus, police and the other Government mechanisms cannot violate the individual/ personal/ rights of the citizens.

Fruit of the poisoned tree doctrine is a kind of a metaphor used in the legal terms.

It means that either the evidence or the source of the evidence tends to be tainted.
