• Know areas where fish are found.
• Know the types of bait for different fish and how to hook them
• Hold the reel and pull it up.

Thus, fishing requires physical efforts and skill. When fishing is competed at individual or team level it becomes a sport. Even if there's no fishing tournament or competition, fishing is a sport as it is a physical activity that is done for pleasure and requires some skills.
