The Gospel According to Mark is one of the forms of three synoptic and four canonical Gospels.

It described the ministry of Jesus. From the baptism of Jesus by apostle John to his death. It also contains burial and discovery of the tomb of Jesus, empty.

In this gospel, there is no narrative about birth and after resurrection appearance.

In it, Jesus is described as Messiah and son of God.

According to many early Christians, it was written by John Mark, the companion of apostle Peter but according to modern scholars it was written by anonymous authors instead of John Mark. Because it was written around AD 66 -70, during Jews revolution.

It was written for gentile people in the Greek language.
