World War II was the war where operations of military broadly targeted the research efforts of the enemy.

Involvment of America in World War II had an important impact on the workforce and economy of the U.S. The U,S was recovering from the impact of unemployment and Great Depression . Factories of America were retooled to manufacture goods to support the war effort & overnight the rate of unemployment dropped . Women went to work to place jobs which were held by men traditionally.
