" Uber Coca" was a theory of Sigmund Freud developed in 1884 regarding the use of Cocaine for impotence and depression. Freud himself used this drug. The pros of this thought of Freud was that ii promoted the medicinal use of this drug. He explained the medicinal benefits and uses, and called it as a magical drug.
The cons of this advocacy program was that Freud never be testified it experimentally from scientific research method, hence, it was subjective. Some of the uses that he advised were not medical. He didn't include the side effects of the the drug in his advocacy program. Thus, it was largely a misguiding program to which many of his followers became the victim, and suffered due to addiction of Cocaine.
