Consider Tolstoy’s view that believing in God makes our lives richer and happier. Respond to these questions: Is that a good enough reason for believing in God? Is it proof of God’s presence in the world? Provide reasons and examples to support your view.
Compare Russell’s view of the meaning of life with Tolstoy’s. With which do you most agree, Russell or Tolstoy? Provide reasons and examples to support your view.
the God exists or not is a question which cannot be answered with evidence, a person who believes in God can present much evidence of existence while a person who does not believe in God can also present much evidence.
The view of Tolstoy enhanced by some values which have been experienced by him and the views of Russell also depends on personal research or thinking.
If we think as a believer we can get multiple evidence of God existence like we don’t know about the universe and its formation, many questions can be raised in our mind which do not have a proper answer. While, as a pessimist, we can ask why people die during little age if God exist they could be saved.
In my opinion, the existence of God is a subject of trust which cannot be defined by scientific views so that I have mutual support with Russell and Tolstoy.
