One main role of neuroscience is to understand cognitive development by demonstrating that the role of experience in transformation and development of mind, body and brain. It also demonstrated that biology is not destiny. Neuroscience provides evidence and mechanism that neuroscientist can be explained. behavioural theories remain unverified until they are not scientifically proven.

Hence, neuroscience plays a major role in order to examine and prove the mechanism of cognitive development.
