Answer #1

There are several perspectives that attempt to explain the how’s and why’s of behaviour. Each theory conceptualises behaviour in through a specific lens and establishes causal relationships accordingly. However, behaviours are complex and multifaceted, and have several factors that influence them. Their origin and manifestation cannot be pin-pointed to a single cause, which most theories attempt to do. Therefore, the natural outcome is that we find that there exist more than one theory for most behaviours. This should not be considered a problem as it means that behaviours are bein studied from different perspectives in order to attain the best understanding of it.
